Title: កូនយើង — UNICEF Cambodia Parenting Series
Description: A Khmer-language parenting series built for a phone screen, reaching over one million people organically with no paid media.
Industry: Media & Public Health
Release Date: Jun 06, 2026
Shape THE CHALLENGE

Two thirds of Cambodian children experience violent discipline at home. UNICEF Cambodia needed to reach parents with something better — but public health messaging is the content people scroll past fastest, and the audience they most needed to reach was the one least likely to sit through it.

Shape WHAT WE DID

We built Kon Yerng — a Khmer-language parenting series designed for a phone screen rather than a broadcast slot.

Thomith Chin hosted. We designed the format, booked expert and community voices — psychologists, parents, and Buddhist monks — and produced nine weeks of episodes with a short-form clip strategy running alongside each one.
Shape THE RESULT

Over one million organic views on a single episode. Nine weeks with no audience drop-off — and no paid media behind the core content

Multiple episodes exceeded 100,000 views. The series ran its full nine-week schedule without losing its audience — something rarely achieved in public health content, and never here with no media spend behind it. A parenting campaign that reached a million Cambodians without spending a dollar on media.
